Vermilion Inversion

About This Photo:
Northern Arizona has been covered in a near continuous shroud of fog since a snow storm on new years. After a week of no sun, I drove to higher elevations in hope of catching some rays and getting above the inversion. It cleared out briefly over the Vermilion Cliffs before fully engulfing the valley once again just before I left.
