Spruce Tree House in Mesa Verde National Park. Dwelling of the Ancestral Puebloan people that carved a living out of the harsh Southwestern USA long before highways, reservoirs, and grocery stores. It is the 3rd largest dwelling in the park containing 130 rooms and 8 kivas. It was constructed sometime between 1211 and 1278.
