Alstrom Point, Glen Canyon National Recreation Area.

About an hour and a half drive on a dirt road heading out into the remote areas of Glen Canyon brings you to a stunning vista overlooking Padre Bay, Lake Powell. Alstrom Point is an amazing place to visit and shoot some photos. Sunrise and sunset offer some great opportunities to capture Gunsite Butte and the surrounding areas from a birds eye view just about 1,000 feet above the lake itself. I visit this place multiple times a year and highly recommend it if you have never done so.
