This is my first telescope (updated). I built it with a 10 inch sewer pipe (not used;), and aluminum rods. It's an open tube design which makes placing all the mirrors a bit easier to do. The mirror was an 8"F3.6 I bought on ebay cheap. This turned out to be a mistake. I replaced that mirror with a high quality 8"F6 and extended the scope respectively.

This is a shot of my setup with my other scope. This scope is a 5"F8 I picked up on ebay for around 40$. I modified it for my camera (Canon rebel XTi). The optics on this thing are very good for how cheap it was.

The mount is a CG-5 type equatorial. I installed the clock drive motors and modified the hand controller for an autoguider following the instructions at Shoestring Astronomy for my mount type. I'm using a Quickcam pro 5000 as the guide imager, and a Meade 60AZ-T as the guide scope. Using PHD guiding from stark labs as the guide program. All works out nice.
